  • *CONGRATULATIONS* to Trevor Noah for finally showing what type of person he really is in his latest promo commercials for his so-called show. He tells us we should “ROAST CORONAVIRUS SO HARD” He states coronavirus you got so many zits it looks like your exfoliating with pizza crust. Then. The coronavirus starts to cry and Trevor feels sorry for what he said to the coronavirus and says “ AHH, I FEEL BAD NOW” Unfortunately, this is not comedy. This is exactly how Trevor really feels about a Covid Virus that has Led to the following. *HE FEELS BAD ABOUT OFFENDING CORONAVIRUS WITH THE BELOW ATROCITIES THAT HAVE OCCURRED TO ALL OF HUMANITY AND OUR FAMILIES* A dramatic loss of human life worldwide. The economic and social disruption caused by the pandemic is devastating: tens of millions of people are at risk of falling into extreme poverty. The pandemic has decimated jobs and placed millions of livelihoods at risk. Nearly half of the world’s 3.3 billion global workforce are at risk of losing their livelihoods No income means no food. Border closures, trade restrictions and confinement measures have disrupted domestic and international food supply chains in which we all suffer. PLEASE WAKE UP AMERICA People like this who have a voice to millions of people worldwide should not have the ability to continue to have a platform as the LATE SHOW to spew his one-sided agenda to the masses. Trevor. As well as many other public figures in similar positions need to be held accountable for their one sided globalist views based on their beliefs and not be so closed minded that there are others who believe differently and that’s ok. That’s why we live in AMERICA and have law and a CONSTITUTION that our country was founded upon. Fortunately for Trevor. Since he is such a beloved character for the globalist agenda his past exploits were quickly squashed by the globalist in which he works for within BIG MEDIA. NOTE: A lot of people have not seen the real Trevor and have not forgot his past. Its funny that in such a CANCEL CULTURE we live in now he wasn’t cancelled long ago for his supposed offensive/hateful comments which were much more offensive than the majority of the unfortunate cancelled individuals of today. WHICH, by the way means anyone who speaks derogatory towards the left and their agenda who does not agree to their personal opinions. If you do. You are deemed a liar, conspiracy theorist, white supremacist or domestic terrorist. His show is supposed to be an Award-winning program that examines the day's biggest news stories in politics, pop culture, entertainment, sports and more. That description is the furthest from the truth. The show is simply about a puppet who is would be clinically deemed Self-Absorbed. Remember folks TREVOR SAYS YOU MUST TRUST SCIENCE. So, here is the clinical description of a Self-Absorbed person which is simply another term for a narcissistic personality. They are always on the defensive. They do not see the world from another person’s eyes. Anyone who opposes his views. They don’t see the big picture. A self-absorbed person thinks the world is just about them. They are imposing. They always think they are superior to others. They are so consumed by their own world and self-image They are extremely opinionated. They hide their insecurities behind a cloak of success. They devalue others. Constructive criticism is okay, but self-absorbed people always take criticism too far and use it as a weapon to allow them to devalue others. They can be arrogant. This is because they feel they are so important and better than every other person. A self-absorbed person can often be egotistical. They hide who they are. coming across as pretentious They are extremely selfish. They think they are great and the world out there is wrong. The previous is just one persons opinion as allowed for by the the Bill of Rights which are the first 10 Amendments to the Constitution. It spells out Americans' rights in relation to our government. It guarantees civil rights and liberties to the individual-like freedom of speech, press, and religion. NOTE: These rights should not be compromised no matter left or right when given a platform to promote ones-self and their personal beliefs. All issues should be equally presented and considered by all parties involved and not be suppressed/withheld as they are in todays society.

  • k, with school budgets around here? No air conditioning, barely heat, no paper, no supplies, no books, few teachers, a lot of students, many of whom english is a second language (don't even, you people!), and no nurses, no counselors, no...just no. no nothing, and they did their best even so. Many of them buy the supplies for their students, many parents buy needed supplies. I myself have bought reams of paper, books, a computer lab (don't get too excited, mostly offlease machines), science equipment, sports equipment, art supplies and musical instruments. I sat on the board trying to balance budgets, but there is no money! And you think they are going to get PPE??? Until America changes its attitude on education? The Trumps of this world will ride roughshod over everything this country was supposedly about, because people will not learn to actually think. We need to change...now.

  • I would have no issue with schools opening if they just ALL went by a set standard or schedule. Do you know how complicated it is when you have multiple aged kids going back to in person learning at different schools that have gone with different block and hybrid schedules? OMFG its a nightmare for transport and arrangments. (example, one of mine is half day, one is full day, I have to drop off at 7:45 and 8:50 and pick up at 12:30 and 3:40. handling the logistics and still get ANY of my work done is just plain crazy.) Its also hard when they are opening schools but not providing before and after care. So these parents who now have kids going back are dealing with half days, which makes going to work impossible. Because the kid is in school for about 4 hours, and thats not enough time for a real work shift. Until all schools are back to full time and offering before after care, the economy cant totally open. I know, I get it, teachers and schools are not daycares. But they ARE a location where kids go for 6 hours a day under "normal" circumstances, and schools that offer those care programs give parents an additional time frame so they can go to work too.

  • I'm speaking as a public high school teacher and union member here. First of all, schools have been open. We've been in session since August, albeit on a digital basis. Teachers have been working their butts off to transform their teaching practice over the course of months, if not weeks, in order to meet the demands of virtual learning. Teachers have been educating themselves, not just their students, in the use of virtual tools to help make learning through a computer meaningful. All those individuals saying that teachers need to suck it up or quit are completely disregarding the fact that we are CONSTANTLY working to improve our teaching practice. They are also completely disregarding the few teachers with serious health problems who are at risk of dying if they are infected by Covid. I am back in person at my campus, and I barely recognize half of the adult faces at this school anymore. This is due to all the good teachers that have quit or gone on UNPAID leave because they legitimately fear for their health. To all the parents complaining out there, why don't YOU suck it up with your criticisms and do your part to help? Back us up when we ask for vaccinations. Back us up when we demand fair pay for our hard work.

  • Schools need to figure it out how to fix this, what we're doing right now is not working and kids are frustrated, tired, desperate and not learning. Just because kids are at home doesn't mean they should assign extra assignments to keep them busy 20 hours a day. You mentioned 6 hours in school? My daughter spends 10-13 hours a day just trying to catch up with the never ending homework schools are assigning. Thank you Trevor for touching on this subject, it's a problem we have right now and it will make a difference, not a good one, in these children's lives if we don't do something quick!!

So I hope the excuse is a good one. They might be hearing it for a long time. And yes, I'm an asshole for saying this. But it seems like there are a lot of parents who need to hear it, if we don't want their children to die :(

  • Do not go to school if you are in a "hot zone". Whether, or not, it is what Biden was supposed to do within 100 days. If your area is designated as a "hot zone", use your common sense and don't send your child to pick up a virus & bring it home. If you do… keep your distance & always wash your hands & cover your mouths even if you speak to each other from a distance. Nows the time to ignore each other.

  • Well… he was to have to have his vaccine administered efficiently FIRST! Here's the thing… if Biden is to accomplish the tasks at hand within 100 days… then all tasks need to go according to plan. THAT CAN NOT HAPPEN WHEN HE HAS TO REPAIR THE BROKEN FACILITIES THAT TRUMP HAS DEMOLISHED! … and if you pay attention to law suits against Trump, recently… then you can take into consideration, the time that it takes to repair them AND give the best effort at accomplishing those tasks within 100 days. I'll point out the criticism by the news… and HE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE TRUMP TO GET IT!

  • There is no debate. There is a false narrative created by media corporations to divide the people: the latest gambit? Teachers v Parents on reopening schools. The media seeks far and wide to find a few uninformed parents for soundbites that match their narrative. The problem: most teachers are parents too, with their own learning remotely, on top of trying to teach remotely. Here is what is missing from the narrative: A) teachers want nothing more than to be back in the classroom with your kids. B) teachers know that emergency remote learning is terrible (remember that when you hear about "online degrees") C) returning to school must be safe (example: my librarian has an immuno-compromised child of her own. Reopening school without vaccines puts her child's life in danger. ) some of our students are immuno- compromised. D) we appreciate everything our students' parents are doing E) my district is 21,000 students. My district is hybrid learning. 18,000 are virtual only per parent's request. This is the kicker. The majority of parents don't want their kids in school yet. All the media does is create a false narrative about what people, teachers and parents (and teachers that are parents), want.

What do these people think is going to happen when kids go to school buildings, bunched up like classrooms require? COVID is just going to find the teachers and stop there? A big difference between a grocery worker and a classroom worker are that diseases don't spread like crazy in a grocery store as they do in a school. And when it spreads through the kids, the kids bring it home and spread it to their family. _ When little Johnny goes to school in the early stages of the flu before symptoms show but it's transmittable, he gets little Timmy sick with the flu. Then little Timmy takes it home and Timmy's whole family gets their rounds with it. COVID will do the same.

  • There is no reason for teachers to be in the classroom during a PANDEMIC. Online learning is sufficient for building academic skills, and many teachers have done a wonderful job of providing online classes that stimulate a desire to learn. There are also *gasp* books, or even more shocking, how about parents actually contribute something to their children's education? Take your child to a park and teach them about the plants and animals, that will get them excited about science. Get library books about subjects of interest. Have them count household objects and do math problems with them. It is currently not safe for people to congregate in public. My girlfriend's doctor even warned her it's not safe to enter a grocery store, let alone be in a classroom for 6-8 hours. We know many children have died from covid and related problems, so it's not safe for them, but it's certainly not safe for teachers. No, selfish parents, you cannot kill teachers because you'd rather not raise your own child. Long distance learning is the best for them in light of the virus. If you worry about your child's social development arrange outdoor playdates and sports for them. Don't expect people being paid 30k a year to die because you're a crappy parent.

  • The contradictory behaviour of American leaders is just astounding. We have multiple more contagious and possibly more deadly variants circulating, making it even more important to stay in lockdown, but we need to open schools and let children mingle which will spread the virus and bring it home to the people who most need to avoid it. WTF?! I am furious with everyone who didn't stay home isolating during the lockdowns because their behaviour prolonged this problem and has led to all these deaths. Their selfishness is why we have variants at all. It would've died out by April if no one had gone out visiting or left home for any reason other than groceries and medical care. But selfish ignorant people have now killed half a million Americans and are creating a situation of perpetual illness. Covid is forever now, they are already admitting the vaccine will be an annual thing, and anyone who refused to wear a mask, refused to wear it properly or went out for any unnecessary reason is to blame.

We spend 12 hours plus on the computer a day, also. 6 to 7 hours teaching 6 to 7 hours grading and creating curriculum, but no one seems to be concerned about our mental health or the fact that as older individuals 12 hours looking at a screen each day is causing our eye site to deteriorate at a much faster rate. How about the, at least, 24 hours we put in on the weekends researching and CREATING remote learning curriculum. Why is that the students and parents are the victims in this scenario and teachers are the villain? How about instead of pointing your fingers at the teachers how about you point the finger at yourself and ask yourself, "what can I do to make this situation that we are all in together better for my student?"

  • What we see here, at least in the faces, words, and attitudes of those Trevor selected to testify, are people who could give a shit less about their children's education but just want the undeniable evidence of their own marginal fitness out of the gahdammed house for at least SOME of the time. It's tough actually being a parent (I think) and all of these examples provided look like folks for whom 'tough' means 'not worth doing' but yelling and complaining, actually feeling something, that's not to be passed up. My guess would be that, every school day, the average teacher looks out over a sea of hopelessness and treasures seeing that one, maybe even two, actually educable Humans in their class who, with luck, will continue to expand and grow to the point of contributing to the greater good of us all. Most will stop in their twenties or even earlier. Tough, needs a good and sincere heart, to be a teacher of the young, and a high tolerance for administrative idiocy. And, as was pointed out below: If 90% of the children are in Red Zones might they not be Red Zones because they have 90% of the children? This is actually a serious epidemiological datum. But children don't spread it...or so we are told...but we have been told many things regarding this debacle...

  • Why are we acting like the kids are gonna safely distant and wash their hands every 20 minutes and wear a fresh new mask daily? Also why are we acting like public school teacher get paid a millions to even think they wanna risk their welfare and safety?

  • Its terrible that parents are getting upset with the teachers, the individual teachers aren't getting vaccinated and don't have control over what the schools do for re opening.

  • i don't understand why people are wanting schools open. The government won't open up with grown folks. That's saying something. Most churches are closed The schools are not safe. Politics is over and we need to protect the kids. Parents are going to have to be responsible for taking care of their kids with home school a little longer. They can make it work. Its not a new thing. They want free babysitters. I think the stimulus bill should help with that.

I've had kids get it multiple times...teachers constantly in and out the building to quarentine...I got 30+ kids in a room...if yall knew...I know its sucks, virtual is 2x if not 10x the workload as in person, but its better than waking up everyday know you may bring a deadly virus home for $30-40k a year 😔🤦🏾‍♀️

  • Believe me, virtual learning is really tough. But in-person learning in our school district is not going to be "normal" by any means. Kids won't get to play with their friends, go up to the teacher's desk to ask questions or even eat in the cafeteria. It's going to be a very weird situation.

  • I'm a teacher and a parent (yeah, that happens sometimes) and I don't want my child back in the school building because I am not willing to risk my child getting Covid-19. And my kid at times has gotten on my NERVES during this pandemic - a middle schooler, very moody. Still. I don't want my child to get sick. Or bring something back home to me. Or give coronavirus to my parents. Like how are people willing to risk that??!!
